Abstract

A knitting machine is supplied with three or more spun or un-spun yarns which are presented to each knitting needle such that they lie in the same vertical plane within the hook of the needle. The yarns are evenly spaced. The method is used particularly in knitting multi-coloured garments having stripes etc. The yarns are supplied to the knitting machine uniformly, thereby providing a more uniform knit.
