Abstract

The closing and locking actuating mechanism locks by the extension of the locking rod with the fixed frame members. This arrangement ensures that the actuating and locking rod is undivided and it locks simultaneously with the upper and lower fixed frame member. One end (10) of the actuating rod (5) has a reversing drive (6) whose actuated member (14) acts as a locking element. This reversing drive (6) has a U shaped covering profile plate (15) which accommodates a housing with a pinion. This pinion is arranged between the actuating component (13) and the actuated component (14) and the these two components are guided by the covering profile (15). A rack (28) and coupling component (29) of the drive are fitted as a compact assembly into the housing.
