Abstract

The central lock is for windows and doors, having a lock plate and plunger, the latter fixed to a bar actuated by a handle. The bar (25) has a guide groove (28), open towards the lock plate (32), and in which the lock plunger (29) slides and is lockable. The plunger can have a guide portion (30) pref. of dovetail section, by which it slides in the groove, a protrusion (31) and a fixing device (33), pref. a Parker screw, by which it is secured to the bar. The lock plate can be of angled profile material (34, 35) with a nose (37) sliding in the profiled portion of the frame (1) and lockable by a screw (38).
