Abstract

A glue applicator for carton sealing machines has a container (1) which fits in a frame (A) comprising a lower plate side arms, an upper plate and a cross rail with tightening screw. This assembly counteracts the internal pressure of the compressed air introduced through a regulator (B) in the top. The glue is forced along a pipe (22) and divided (19) to feed top and bottom heads (21) through separate assemblies. Each comprises a manifold block (20) dividing the supply into four lines (24), all entering a solenoid operated control valve (25). Each dispenser head comprises a block with four holes in one side for the glue, the holes tapering to outlet holes at right angles.
