Abstract
The system regulates the output of a bundle of beams from a laser diode so as to control a guided missile. An impulse generator delivers power to the diode, and radiation from the latter is detected and a corresponding signal produced. A servo stage compares this signal with one from a control circuit and produces a regulating signal fed to the generator. The signal from the control circuit is allowed to increase during the firing time of the missile as a function of this time. The circuit can have a first transistor (8) with which a capacitor is connected in parallel (20), also two resistances in series (15, 16). The connection point between the resistance is connected to the servo unit (21). The base current to a second transistor (9) can be arranged to decrease during the firing time, becoming so low that this functions as an emitter follower, thus reducing the voltage across the resistances, while the output voltage to the servo unit increases.
