Abstract

A rectangular folded cardboard container for liquids such as milk or fruit juice, is of the type in which the top is closed by folding two sides inwards and sealing the top edges of the other two sides. One of the sides which is folded inwards (12a, 12b) has a pouring spout (13) formed in it, the spout opening when the two adjacent sides (11a, 11b) are pulled apart. The folds forming the spout can be V-shaped or U-shaped. The carton is opened easily in one movement.
