Abstract

A kitchen unit has a separate plinth (9) with brackets (11) at each corner. Each has a vertical hole, threaded to receive a length of screwed rod (10). A flanged head (15) welded on this rod has a boss locating in a hole in the bottom (3) of the unit, this boss having a slot (18) across the top. The flanges on the four screwed rods support the unit and adjustment is made by means of a screwdriver in each slot. After completion, a cap (19) is screwed (20) into the top of the boss to close the hole. The unit front is extended downwards (22) to mask the gap (21).
