Abstract

Teeth in the side sections of mounted harrows are turned inwards when the sections are folded. A sleeve with two pins is hinged on each end of the frame and bears a lug for the attachment and pivoting of a side section. The pins enable the sleeve to be secured to th e frame and the side section to be secured to the sleeve. To bring the harrow into the travelling position, each side section is lifted into the vertical position, locked by means of one pin, turned with its sleeve around a further pin on the sleeve until it is at right angles to hitch frame and finally locked by means of the second pin. By rotating the side sections around the sleeve axes, the tines point inwards and no longer constitute a danger when in the transport position.
