Abstract
Polymer compsns. for moulding or coating comprises 40-100 wt. % ethylene (co)polymers grafted with acrylic derivs. of formula CH2=C(R1)COOR2 (where R1 is H or 1-3C alkyl and R2 is 2-12C pref. 4-8C alkyl) and 60-0wt. % polyethylene, the polyacrylic units in the grafted polymer comprising 1-50 wt. % (pref. 2-20%) of the total polymers in the compsn. For prodn. of containers, bottles, tubes cable sheaths etc. The compsn. is stress-crack resistant when in contact with aggressive environment.
