Abstract

Each shelf consists of three parallel rails, each rail being a hollow tube, and two triangular end plates (2). Each end plate has three regularly spaced holes through each of which a plug (6) is inserted into the extremity of each of the rails. The head of the plug is convex and is larger than the part which fits into the rail. Vertical U-shaped mounting rails are fixed to the wall and have pairs of recesses into which one of the rails of each shelf can be fitted. Each mounting rail can receive the ends of two adjacent shelf sections.
