Abstract

The seal is fixed on frame edges (3) receives the edges of the closed window (2) and is designed as an effective and aesthetic seal. The seal is of hollow semi-cylindrical section with two tangentially projecting curved lips (6, 7). The shorter lip (6) receives the window edge, and the longer lip projects into a frame groove and conceals frame fixation screws (5). The lip (6) does not project beyond the window (2) perimeter with the two lips (6, 7) being superimposed and coming into contact when the window is closed.
