Abstract
The linear to rotary movement converter has a work cylinder and a sliding piston for driving a toothed rod, with a rotatable shaft with a gearwheel, which can work in conjunction with the toothed rod so that a to and fro movement of the piston can be converted into a rotary movement of the shaft. The toothed rod, at least at one end, has a tooth which on its crown has a slope inclined to the toothed rod axis. The angle of the incline of this slope is smaller than the angle of the inclines of the side surfaces of the other teeth. This one tooth slope is so arranged that at the stroke end of the toothed rod it slides to a side surface of a tooth of the gearwheel.
