Abstract

A simple, cheap, easily erected chalet is made up of four symmetrical shell portions each forming the corner of a structure which is square in plan view, the upper parts (2) forming a sloping roof, the lower parts (1) forming the four walls which also slope inwards, each edge incorporating an L shaped flange (3) so that four porches are formed on assembly. These porches are then used for installing windows and doors, or alternatively, when several of these structures are connected together, some of te porches form passages by which they are interconnected. Each chalet can be erected on a square platform and the different portions are secured to one another by any suitable means e.g. bolts.
