Abstract

The switch has a lever (31) with, on one end, a toggle (36) and, on the other end, a pivot (34) and a tumbler (4) has, on one end, a pivot (51) and, on the other end, a moving contact (44) for closing or opening an electric circuit. At the rest position, the lever (31) and the tumbler (4) are in a plane (X X') perpendicular to the tumbling plane. At one of the working positions, the lever (31) and the tumbler (4) are rotated about two tumbling points (34, 51) and are on one side of the rest position plane (X X'). The switch has a spring (2) connected to the lever (31) and the tumbler (4) and is contained in a transparent material case (1). The tumbling action is obtained without mechanical shock.
