Abstract

The seal comprises an upper gutter unit (1), a lower apron unit (3) and several lateral soaker units (2), these latter being of sufficient quantity to cover the stack's lateral dimensions, and the range of units being standardized. The units are contoured to blend and fit onto various tile (5) forms and the assembly overlaps tile fashion to effect the waterproof seal and connects to roof joists (9) etc., without recourse to other fittings. The upper unit (1) incorporates a recessed gutter for collection and direction of rainwater onto the roof pitch and lateral units; and units are of fibro-cement, plastic or metal.
