Abstract

The bar has two support posts which comprise a fixed lower tube (2) and an upper tube (3) which slides in the fixed tube. The upper tube has, at its lower extremity, a projection (7) in the form of a reversed V which rests on a pin (9) which can be introduced into one hole (4) of a series of holes at varying heights on the fixed tube. The two tubes are locked together by a biconical split ring (10) which is inserted between two female cones, one on the top of the fixed tube (6) and the other on a milled ring (12) screwed on to this.
