Abstract

The valve body (11) has an inlet and an outlet (12, 13) for the fluid. Perpendicular to these is a circular bore (14), intersecting the fluid circuit and having on each side an annular semicircular groove (17, 18), connected top and bottom, between the grooves by a straight semi-circular channel. The seal is mounded in one piece from a flexible material and has upper and lower annular rings (1, 2) connected together by two straight pieces, 180 deg. apart. This seal fits in the grooves and channels in the body and, when the spool (15) closes the fluid circuit, prevents escape both along this and the spool.
