Abstract

The container is formed by closing at top and bottom a plastic sleeve (5) by transverse weld lines (3, 4). Another weld line (6), either angled or parallel to the ends, delimits a section (2b) separate from the main container. A hole (7) through this section is used to hold te container when cutting of a corner (8) to open it, and as a pivot for use when pouring, so eliminating spillage because of the container flexibility. During manufacture the sleeve is placed round a filling nozzle. The end and angled welds are formed, together with the hole, the pocket so formed is filled as the sleeve moves relative to the nozzle, than the welding jaws and separating cutters are used again.
