Abstract

Cabinet for general electrical distribution equipment, i.e. fusing circuits, contractors, bus-bars etc. is basedon all metal framework, the overall design aiming to provide maximum adaptability. The framework consists of vertical and horizontal U section elements, the vertical elements facing each other across the depth of the cabinet. Cross pieces are clipped and bolted to the horizontal parts of the frame and provide a variable position support for two vertical girder-like members having lines of slots and holes onto which is bolted the electrical apparatus. Cables exit and enter through circular holes in the vertical members.
