Abstract
Spread over the flight path are rotating arm two aerial systems or beacons transmitting hyperfrequencies of the same value or of near values. The aircraft (A) navigates itself with respect to several of these beacons (11) by phase modulations of the signals received from them. Means are provided to ensure that the rotating arms of the aerials are driven in synchronism. The hyperfrequency energy applied to the two aerials of a beacon is shifted in phase by pi/4. The aircraft have a beacon signal receiver and means for displaying the beacon data by a correlation between two signals taken from received signals with an on board created modulation, this correlation being followed by an integration.
