Abstract

Measurements of liquid flow are provided by rotating drums connected to a perforated disc through which light is transmitted to photo-receivers (4a, 4b) on the inputs of two amplifiers (5a, 5b). The outputs (10) of a pulse forming circuit (6) are passed to the pricing circuits and the volume circuits. Another output connects to the fault diagnosis circuit to activate valves. The pricing circuits are duplicated and give counted price from unit price. The volume circuits gve counted volume signals which are gated with pricing signals and decoded for comparison and application to the fault diagnosis circuit. The gate outputs are applied to a display circuit for numerical readout of price.
