Abstract

The cooker frame chassis comprises two side frames joined together by carriers, to accommodate and retain the component parts of the cooker. The units used for this are prefabricated shaped-section rails, which have a multiple-U cross-section, rails of the same shape being used both for the side frames and for the interconnecting carriers, with welding between the assembled rails provided only in their vertically adjoining edge areas, where they are pref. fitted with cutouts or impressions. Cost is reduced, and rapid and simple assembly is practicable, in producing a lightweight but rigid cooker frame.
