Abstract

The invention is designed to enable the opening of not only a part, but of the whole of a greenhouse roof for aeration. The greenhouse roof consists of panels (6) which are hinged at their lower end (4) at the gutter (4), with their upper end resting on the ridge (5). A rotating plate (2) on shaft (4) bears a rod (3) one end of which pivots on plate (2). The other end pivots on the lower end of panel (6). When the shaft (1) is turned in a clockwise direction, the plate turns causing the rod to push the panel (6) to the vertical position. The panel can be secured in any of hte intermediate positions.
