Abstract

The data card comprises a printed circuit card (100) which is held in a base (101) provided with two guide tracks (102), and with a number of terminals (1b, 2b--nb) connected to respective terminals (1a, 2a...na) of the printed circuit card (100), when the latter is inserted in the base. The printed circuit interconnects selected card terminals and the connections can be detected by a detector circuit into which the data card is inserted. The data card may have a number of faces, each provided with a printed circuit and is preferably used for time and identification recording and checking. A decoding system may detect undesired connections or their absence.
