Abstract

The base, of square tube, comprise a horizontal centre (10) with shorter lengths welded each end at 90 deg. These have pivots for extension pieces, with feet, folding out for use and in for packing. Two uprights (11) form outer guides for smaller square tubes (2) sliding inside, these being welded to a centre section to make a frame for the table top. This is fixed by screwed on angle pieces welded to the support frame. Threaded rods (8), in conjunction with collars, provide height adjustment using a key. This is done from underneath on one side, a light chain connecting both sides together.
