Abstract

The electric heater has at least one heat storage chamber with a respective electrical heating resistance. A thermally insulated chamber, where the resistance is lodged, is associated with the chamber to which it is connected by means of pipe extending from the resistance chamber to the chamber bottom another pipe, connecting the top of these two chambers, is so dimensioned that the dynamic resistance inside it, opposing the thermla lifting power, is large enough to enable the temperatures to be established by layers inside the storage chamber as required. Typically the chamber and/or the connecting pipe are assembled outside the storage chamber.
