Abstract

An improved quality hologram is obtained by using two or more object beams, each passing through information elements to coincide on the photosensitive surface. The reference beam, of coherent light, is set at an angle evenly between the object beams for maximum effect. The photo-sensitive surface is relief sculptured by the light and a simple arrangement uses photo-sensitive resist material or any similar system. A number of object information elements can be stored in the same place on the light sensitive element without effecting the quality of the pictures. The arrangement can therefore be used for colour video information or for series of pictures with one, two, or three dimensional change.
