Abstract

The projector is provided with a pulse interrupter for automatically engaging and disengaging the projector and has a time switch to control the period of operation of the projector. A thermal cut-out is operated if the temperature of the projector exceeds a given value and the projector is automatically re-started once the temperature falls below a set level, and a double turbine fan may be used to aid the reduction in temperature. The projector may also have an automatic focussing system for adjusting the clarity and definition of the image, with the projector mechanism protected from the weather by a cover allowing it to be used outdoors.
