Abstract
PURPOSE: To synchronize the whole system by a method wherein clock words containing the summer and winter informations are given at the fixed period to local controlling devices in the air-conditioning system consisting of a central controlling device and a plurality of the local controlling devices.
CONSTITUTION: The central controlling device MC transmits at the fixed period the clock words containing the summer and winter informations. The start of analog to digital conversion and the operating direction of operating end due to the summer and winter informations are provided by the clock words. Detected temperatures, which are converted from analog values to digital values by means of an analog to digital conversion starting signal ST, and stored in the local controlling device SC, as controlled variables. On the other hand, because the cooling operation and the heating operation necessitate the movements of the operating end, the directions of which are opposite each other, the directions are provided by the summer and winter informations. A time-proportional-position action is employed as a controlling action and a controlling operation is performed at the period of seconds on an electric heater which has no moving part and on the basis of mean values calculated at the period of minutes on cold and hot water valves and the like.
