Abstract

Drainage is controlled by a sliding component, actuated by pressure, which fits coaxially inside a rotary grip controlling the water outlet. The cold water inlet can be controlled by a poppet valve actuated by a push rod in the entry orifice to the mixing chamber, while a separate orifice is connected to the feed pipe. The push rod can have an axial threaded compartment for guidance of a pin, which in turn can have an axial compartment in which a pin works. The pin can be held at one end so as to maintain it in the centre of the cold water control grip.
