Abstract

A compact boiler with a draw-off type hot water tank, has its combustion chamber, burner, and circulating tube system housed inside a box like construction (1) mounted on vertical supports (2) at the corners so as to form an open area underneath in which the water tank (3) is located. These vertical supports (2) are also connected by ground level lateral and longitudinal members to make a rigid frame. The system is arranged for easy access for maintenance and replacement, and the water supply pipes between the upper and lower areas are fitted with sealing flanged connections (4, 5).
