Abstract

The housing has reinforcements for the setting of the glass and for the receivers for the watch-strap fixing members. The reinforcement comprises a metal ring contg. the glass-setting and the rear of the base and having attachments to receive the watch-strap fixing members. The metal ring and the attachments are formed from plastic, pref. foamable plastic, e.g. polyurethane, leaving only the glass-setting and the rear of the base free. The base, glass and watch-strap fixing members are firmly set in the plastic housing. The housing can be mfd. from all plastics, even elastic ones, thus making possible the automatic prodn of at least the reinforcement parts.
