Abstract

A lining fabric for a wall comprises several plies of paper secured together with an adhesive (pref. a vinyl emulsion). Before or after the fabric has been attached to a wall, a wall covering e.g. wall paper, paint, plastic foam may be applied in the former case the wall covering being attached to the outer ply of a paper before it is secured to the other plies. The fabric is partic. used in caravans, and is rigid and light. The fabric pref has a weight of 200-300 gm/m2 and contains 100-200 gm/m2 of adhesive. The fabric may be 2mm thick.
