Abstract

The container may hold a large number of objects. When it is required to deliver one object from the container, the button (1) is pressed. This causes the plate (3), which is normally horizontal and seals the discharge orifice, to tip about its fulcrum (7) and open the discharge orifice. An object falls onto the plate and slides or rolls to the bottom of the chute (6). When the button is released, the object is projected up the discharge passage (5). The discharge orifice also closes and the mechanism is ready for a repeat operation.
