Abstract
The wristwatch casing has a lug extending at right angles to it so as to bear against one of the faces of the wrist, and has openings at the end for attachment of a conventional strap. There can be two such lugs on the casing, fitting above and below the wrist, or the casing can be fitted to a U-shaped piece with arms fitting above and below the wrist. The piece can be equipped with means for accommodating a standard-type casing. The watch is held on the side of the wrist, so that is dial can be seen without turning the wrist, nor is it exposed to damage in the way it would be if accommodated in the conventional position.
