Abstract

The insert allows a wrist watch (5) to be mounted on the inside edge of the wrist (7), such that the watch, esp. digital types can be read without twisting the wrist through 90 deg. The insert can be in one or two parts (2, 3) fitting between the wrist and the back of the watch casing (4), the wrist strap (1) holding it in place. Alternatively the profile of the watch can be made to match that of the side of the wrist. The insert profile may be a plain, curve or stepped.
