Abstract

The valve consists of a regulation head (1), with double micrometric adjustment, attached to a hand control (2). This control carries the regulating screw (3) and a blocking rod (4) placed behind the sealing glands away from the hot water. The obturator (5) is a normal piston cooperating with the sealing seats (6) and (7) to shut off the water towards the radiator and direct it to the return pipe. The valve has connection sleeves (8) for standard threaded steel tubes. The sleeves may be fitted with non-threaded thin walled tubes (12) of copper, brass etc., by using a rubber O-ring (9) and a sleeve threaded into the sleeve (8) to compress a washer (10) inwardly to lock the tube.
