Abstract

The ball valve is for use in hydraulic circuits and forms a stop, calibrated or variable opening valve and has a seat against which the ball is pressed to form a perfect sealing and a rod, eventually crossing one of the valve seats and connected to the ball and to the moving part of an electro-magnet. The electro-magnet is operated by a variable electrical resistance and its use has advantages over the return-spring system which restricts its operating speed.
