Abstract

The modulating device, used in the braking system of a motor car, between any hydraulic control and respective receiver, has two main chambers, connected, respectively, to the receiver and control devices, as well as to each other, through two passages. The first passage has a normally closed regulating valve, whilst the second is formed as an axial passage through the regulating valve. Flow through the second passage is controlled by a valve kept open by a piston which is operated by a cross-piece placed between the piston and the moving armature of an electro-magnet.
