Abstract

Seed drill has a supply container from which the seeds are metered to the ground through openings. The track of the tractor is kept free from the sowing work, and marker element(s) are provided for the track to be kept free. Preferably the marker elements can be switched on and off via conventional transmission elements from the driver's seat of the tractor. Each marker element is adjustable on the drill at 90 deg. to direction of travel, and consists of a conventional track-loosener. Marker element(s) are fitted at only one side of the machine at a spacing from the outer edge on this side of the working width, corresp. to half the track width of the tractor. The tracks kept free are clearly raised for travel in the next pass.
