Abstract

The replacement label web (1) has perforations (2, 3) along each longitudinal edge, the labels (4) being located adjacent one another along the length of the web (1). The label width (5) is less than the spacing (6) between the two rows of perforations. Each label (4) has a sticky backing and the joints (8) spacing the labels (4) from one another are cut to allow the labels (4) to be readily detached. Each label (4) may be divided into distinct areas for printing with respective inscriptions e.g. the name and address. The web may be stored as a roll or folded accordeon fashion to form a rectangular stack.
