Abstract

The device times the number of revolutions by the motor or the wheels of the vehicle. A rotor is connected to a shaft from which rotational speed is measured and a stator delivers an electrical signal whose frequency is proportional to the angular speed of the shaft and to the number of revolutions turned by the shaft. On the shaft (17) are mounted coaxially, but without inter penetration, a permanent magnet (16) as well as a magnetic core (8) provided with a winding (13) at whose terminals the electrical measuring signal appears. The extremity of the shaft (19) is drawn out so as to lodge in a head (4) fitted into the case (1) housing the device. The head (4) and the shaft extremity are designed to accommodate the ferrale of a flexible shaft.
