Abstract
The cutting tools in the form of chisels are fitted in chisel blocks which are fixed rigidly to the machine body at a constant angular distance from each other around the rotor. The angular distance between the chisel blocks differs from the angular distance between the spindles for the workpieces on the rotor by a value which is a multiple of the ratio of the angle of contact between chisel and workpiece to the number of chisel blocks. The workpieces come into contact with the chisels one after another during rotation of the rotor.
