Abstract

The blank is cut so that the length of the punnet is parallel to the wood grain. Fold lines for the ends of the punnet are perpendicular to the grain. Large cut outs are made between the ends (4) of the punnet and the flaps (8) which are on both ends of the sides (5), so that there are free edges (10) between fold lines (6) for the ends and fold lines (9) for side flaps. When the sides (5) are folded up the longitudinal corners (7) are well rounded and there is no sharp bend parallel to the wood grain needing re-inforcing.
