Abstract

The valve consists of a cylindrical housing on the axis of which a cylinder for a servo motor is mounted. The cylinder is connected to the housing by means of two hollow ribs. The cylinder wall flares out till it meets the housing radially. A radial throughflow opening is provided in the wall of the housing, immediately before the point where the flared wall meets the housing. This opening is only interrupted by the two hollow ribs. The flared wall guides the fluid flow radially through the opening. A ring-shaped valve sits over this opening and is connected to servo pistons which slide in cylinders.
