Abstract

The axis about which the transporter proceeds is inclined at about 45 deg. to the horizontal at least in the region between printing station and one of the other stations. The object holder on the transporter is similarly inclined at about 45 deg. relative to the plane in which the transporter turns. The transporter comprises a rotary plate, a circulating chain or two chains parallel to one another. The drive wheels for these two chains have the same diameter while in the case of the rotary plate the border region of the plate is angled at 45 deg. The object holder consists of pegs. The printing station(s) are aligned with the upper region or apex of the conveyor. The longitudinal axis of the object is positioned approx. horizontally at the printing station.
