Abstract
1,175,680. Rotary conveyers. DOMSANDS VERKSTAD A.B. 23 Dec., 1966 [28 Dec., 1965], No. 57705/66. Heading B8A. Article handling apparatus comprises a horizontal rotating table 1 and an endless conveyer belt 2 mounted therebelow to rotate, when required, about the same axis and wherein the ends of the conveyer 2 extend beyond the periphery of the table 1. Articles. fed to the rotary table 1 are removed therefrom by an operator who after performing an operation thereon feeds the same down a shoot (13), (Fig. 4, not shown) on to the conveyer 2, the angular displacement of which governs the discharge point of the article. The conveyer 2 and the table 1 are driven and controlled by common means for simultaneous stop, start and reverse. Tables 7-10 are spaced around the table 1 in alignment with the conveyer 2 facilitate the operation performed by the operator.
