Abstract

The chimney stack roof cover is designed to permit flexibility at the same time as retaining a waterproof joint. The upper pipe is cylindrical with a conical collar which is integral with a coping of hollow cylindrical form, which sits on a raised curved ridge of a roof tile. The arrangement enables the stack to tilt slightly without breaking the seal. The side walls of the tubular pipe are guided by support irbs fitting against guide plates in the sloping roof.
