Abstract
Strong self-supporting building and facing panels are made by coating crushed peanut shells with a binder, e.g. urea-formaldehyde resin, and a curing catalyst, e.g. NH4-Cl, and curing the mass under heat and pressure into a panel. The prods. are free from layers and sites for internal rupture, and may be used e.g. as ceiling and wall panelling.
