Abstract

The laser has an active gas, is electrically excited by two mutually isolated metal plates the edges of which are parabolically shaped presenting a zero null angle with the gap between them, and have a constant impedance along their length. The parallel electrodes create when energised. A pin point current discharge running along the length of the electrodes in the inter electrode space at the focus of the parabolic surfaces.
